New WTO commitments on domestic regulations on services are about to take effect

The WTO Joint Statement on Domestic Regulations in the Service Industry proposes to complete negotiations in December 2021, with the purpose of formulating regulations and simplifying the qualification and licensing processes to reduce trade costs and promote service trade.
