Officially became a member of IFOAM International Organic Alliance of the United Nations.

Founded in 1972, IFOAM - Organics International is an international organization composed of more than 700 affiliates in more than 100 countries dedicated to bringing true sustainability to global agriculture.
Based on the principles of IFOAM International Organic, the Eurasian Federation certifies that it is related to organic agriculture and meets the definition of an organic organization. It has voting rights at the IFOAM International Organic Agriculture Movement Alliance Conference held every three years.
The Eurasian Federation supports IFOAM - Organics International’s active participation in the farmers’ constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to give voice to the organic food and agriculture community and raise awareness of the urgent need to include organic agriculture in climate change solutions understanding.
IFOAM - Organics International provides an inclusive space for all farmers' major groups around the world to coordinate positions, statements and overall participation in United Nations sustainable development-related processes and hosts the High-Level Forum on Sustainable Development.
Our membership also supports IFOAM - Organics International's work on the Committee on Food Security (CFS). It is the world's most inclusive international and intergovernmental platform for food security and nutrition (FSN). Advocacy efforts focus on agroecology and nutrition, participating in relevant seminars, working groups and civil society mechanisms (CSM).
We will work together with IFOAM - Organics International to raise public awareness of the 4 per 1000 Initiative. The initiative aims to demonstrate that agriculture, and in particular agricultural soils, play a vital role in food security and climate change. Stakeholders are encouraged to transition to productive, natural agriculture based on proper management of land and soil, creating jobs and income, thus ensuring sustainable development.
We will join forces with like-minded individuals and organizations, allowing us to implement projects that develop organic farming on the ground, build the capacity of leaders and advocate for truly sustainable organic farming and food systems.
